Fuck! Shit! Imanidiot!!!!

This afternoon I got sucked into (read: there was a hot chick on the screen) a show on MTV featuring three young people who had Tourette’s. Twas both excruciating and (sorry!) hilarious to watch. Like trying top listen to someone with a voicebox talk to you. Anyways, one of the dudes they were featuring was given the option of taking medication to control his Tourette’s. Oh good, I thought, poor bastard won’t hafta suffer through another disastrous date like the one we just witnessed. Well, that’s what I thought after fuming for 10 minutes re: some dude with Tourette’s going on more dates in the last 10 years than myself. Grrr. Anyways, turns out he decided to not take the medication. Why not? Because he was wary of, get this, the side effects. The side effects? Really? What…what the fuck side effects could possibly be worse than Tourette’s? Hell, I would think Tourette’s WAS a side effect of certain drugs. Hmm…having uncontrollable tics including shouting and yelping leading to being completely shunned by a repulsed society, or loose stools? Hmm.

Hey, you know what side effect he could’ve avoided by actually taking the medication? Having to move back in with his parents. Brilliant move, sport!
