I've mentioned many MANY times how much the Bill Cosby records The Chicken Heart and Himself had an influence on me as a "funny guy" when I was a kid.

I would say that in terms of books, Without Feathers ties The Collected Plays of Neil Simon as books that influenced my "comedy" as a pre-teen back in the day.
