I've blathered many times about The Girl Belongs to Yesterday by Gene Pitney being a superslice (a Top Fitty one, actually), and while famous for being the first Jagger/Richards composition to chart in the UK Top 10, I can't say I had ever heard the Stones' version (which sounds more like a demo) until right now.
