1) Stranger wanders onto the mountain and the family takes him in for a few days, during which their openly searing judgment about his questionable lifestyle pushes him into almost instantly realizing what a horrible person he is, changing him overnight.
2) Member of the family wants to break out on his/her own, after a few days happily ditches new job/life to return back to the family, who warmly welcome them back without question, and a hot meal on the table.
