Damn.

I've been trolling Mike and the Mad Dog on YouTube after seeing this genius clip for the millionth time in about 4 days. I haven't gotten to listen to Mike Francesa religiously like I did in Brooklyn all those years, so I missed it a few weeks ago when he announced that Mad Dog's father had died. Tony Russo was a fan favorite and one of the few people who ever called in that Mike would be genuinely warm with. In particular, the only time Fatcesa ever almost showed any emotion whatsoever that I witnessed was when Tony called Fatty the day after Dog left for his own show and choked up asking Mike if he could still call in to talk about the Yankees. An amazing radio moment.
