Here's to Michael Palin

Last week I mentioned being worried about Bob Newhart now that his wife of 60 years has died, and now we see that Beloved British National Treasure Michael Palin's wife of 57 years has just died. So I guess I gotta worry about him now too. Hang in there, gentlemen!!

Here he is from the famous night he & John Cleese defended the brilliant Life of Brian against two shitheads - I mean, broadcaster and noted Christian Malcolm Muggeridge and Mervyn Stockwood,the then Bishop of Southwark. Cleese later remarked it was the only time he'd ever seen Palin get angry, in all the times they were together.
