Brooklyn @ 25

[XMASTIME NOTE] I moved to Brooklyn 25 years ago this past January; throughout the year I'll be noting things, no matter how small they are in reality, that I remember & associate with those first few days/weeks/months of living in the greatest city in the world.

I don't think I'd ever seen a 16oz. tallboy before moving to Brooklyn; after many, many, MANY trips sprinting down to the bodega with a tenner in my paws - Rrthur (YES ladies, THAT Rrthur) would buy & I'd fly - the tallboy would become the de facto beer throughout my time in Brooklyn (excepting The Turkey's Nest beloved 32 oz. styrofoam container, of course); it's impossible for me to think of one without being back at 232 Ainslie Street with Rrthur & Mrs. Rrthur, fresh from moving to Brooklyn USA with everything & nothing in front of me all at once.
