Continuing CURB Thoughts as We Near the Finale

As an addendum to my previous idea for Curb Your Enthusiasm, did it really never occur to Larry to work up some situation in which someone thought they were hiring the actor David Keith and got the actor Keith David instead & vice versa and they keep getting confused with the wrong one showing up over & over and hilarity ensues?
