It's well-known as a fact - and by "well-known as a fact" of course I mean "I think I saw Neil deGrasse Tyson say it in an Instagram reel" - that in about 5 billion years the Sun will expand and reduce the Earth to cinders, and it's just popped into my head that at some point, just like at some point in the past someone was literally the first-ever human to be born, someone will literally be the last human ever to die (and to steal from Woody Allen, not in actual words but rather in tone, why not let it be me?).
