Beatles Business Opportunities. I Have One.

NEIL ASPINALL: We did this mad thing and put an ad in the paper saying send us your tapes and they will not be shown straight into the waste paper basket. You know, we will answer. We just got inundated with tapes … I don't really think we got any bands or any artists by that method.

PAUL MCCARTNEY: We never really got much from the send-in tapes.
It is absolutely inconceivable to me that nobody’s thought of digging up all these tapes and doing something with them for some $$$$$$...and hell, it could even be legit - they ARE a part of The Beatles’ story, and who knows what musical gold was left in a pile gathering dust with all the other tapes?

After all, isn’t this this the crew who foisted James Taylor on us?

I'd pay money to watch a documentary on the shit they find on these tapes - did anybody on them go on to do anything in the music business, or anything at all of note? 🤔🤷‍♂️
