Kiddie Lit

I've blathered many times over the years the impact of children's literature had on me, and all you hear about today is kids refuse to read books so obviously I think this is fantastic:

Welcome to the Rabbit Hole, a brand-new, decade-in-the-making museum of children’s literature founded by the only people with the stamina for such a feat: former bookstore owners. Pete Cowdin and Deb Pettid are long-married artists who share the bullish determination of the Little Red Hen. They’ve transformed the hulking old building into a series of settings lifted straight from the pages of beloved picture books.

I mean I don't know why they can't get something going with Tthe Man in the Yellow Hat's House but hey they have time I guess.

But seriously this is just an awesome, wonderful thing and I'd like to think if I loved in Kansas City I'd do all I could to support it; obviously I'm a thousand miles away doing my many, many amazing things  so ALL MY KC PEEPS GO REPRESENT!!!!
