R.I.P. Patrick Murray

The Only Fools and Horses character Mickey Pearce was the personification of "weaselly little shit" such that by the time he finally appeared onscreen in Series 3 (yes series not season yeah that's right I fucking said it now leave me alone please I'm in mourning) Only Fools and Horses fans rejoiced, having by then heard so much of his legend that getting to watch Patrick Murray play him absolutely perfectly felt like a coronation of sorts; not only that but he appeared to be a stone-cold fan favorite at all the conventions throughout the years, as everybody seems to have a story of meeting him & finding him to be as thrilled to be there celebrating the show with them as they were with him.
