One of the funnier things about Evan Bayh is that he came out and said he didn't want to be in Congress anymore because he couldn't get anything done - that even while being a part of a super-majority, the shit was just too hard for him, and now people are licking their chops, hoping he's going to be president. What? Isn't this like an offensive co-ordinater saying "gee, I dunno, I'm just not getting our playbook. I mean, I have no idea how to make this work" and then ownership moving him to head coach? Wtf?
Of course, maybe Bayh is full of shit, and was part of the REASON nothing was working. But surely that couldn't be, right?
