Sotomayor

The first thing I heard this morning from the GOP is some of them are "worried" that she isn't "smart enough." And over at RedState they're musing that she is "intellectually shallow." Which is funny, cause I would think a rather tangible way of showing someone how smart you may be might be to go from living in a housing project in the Bronx to finishing first in your class at Princeton, and then go on to become a federal judge as appointed by the president. I guess that's not enough; I guess there's some vague, nebulous measure for intellect that somehow only GOP congressmen are privy to. Or maybe they're concerned that she's smart, but not smart enough to be born into one of the richest, most well-connected good 'ol boy families in the country. We'll see.
