I've Lived Long Enough to Know I've Seen Too Much

The Hipster revels in buying a used auto mechanic's shirt with a patch that reads "Mike" for $50 (oil stains placed just so),  but would be horrified to actually know Mike, much less BE Mike (quelle horror.) - XMASTIME
The offensive hipster badge of honor comprised of dressing poor, ie "real", has now made the leap from something never acknowledged by the hipster as being real to official consumerism.

If these fuckers want some stuff that makes them terrifyingly "real", they should come to a garage sale at my place - I have a feeling after that, suddenly the Izod sweaters sent from daddy won't be so bad after all.
