Ezra Klein Might Be a Baby Dick
Obviously I am not personally privy to it, but Ezra Klein's JournoList sounds like an shit-tacular waste of time. I guess nothing promotes progressive and original thought like "ooooooohhh, let me form a club with people who think exactly like me, and we can practice saying things without being picked on!!"
Hmm.
To be honest, I woulda guessed the opposite - bloggers at that level from different sides of the aisle scheming behind our backs; arguing things out with each other before printing, or even staging little "fights." I guess that's the WWF in me (RIP Kevin Von Erich...well, and every Von Erich that ever stepped into a ring.*) I mean christ, the only opposition I ever can gin up here is THE GNAT**, but he's just a fucking idiot, and then some "Anonymous" who goes to pieces every time I mention the name (I'll whisper it to you, sweetie..."Bush.") I'd ask myself if Ezra Klein has any friends he can just bounce ideas off of occassionally a la email or whatever, but the answer to that is probably "Yes...and they're all on the JournoList." So.
