Depressed.

I've written here many times about the hours I spent watching Curious George with The Short Bus back in my mannying days. Just now I was flipping around, and saw it was on, and thought hey, let's see which one this is.

I'm confused, as I don't recognize the episode. Which, based on his obsession with the show, seems hard to believe. Then I see the date. 2010. 2010!!!  It hit me that even after my days of watching the Short Bus were over, they are still making new episodes of Curious George. I don't know why this should surprise me; but I guess for some reason I assumed children's television programming began the day I started watching him, and after I left the job they said "okay, that's a wrap!" and ceased making new ones. But they didn't. It's like when you realize that school goes on even after you graduate. And maybe your years there weren't even the ones that teachers considered "The Glory Days." How depressing.
