The Fantastic Four, when they decided that The Thing should land a wildly hot girlfriend, despite having neither the form nor texture of, you know, a human being.
And of course, how do they get around this? They make the girl blind. Of course. Since we all know that blindness robs one not only of eyesight, but also the ability to tell the difference between a person and a pile of rocks. Hmm.
