100 Years in Fenway

100 years ago today Fenway Park opened, and the Yankees and Sox today will be wearing the uniforms from that day. Hopefully for shits & giggles they also use the old woolen ones, just to watch Big Papi lose 40 pounds in 5 innings.  Also, I don't know if I've never noticed this, or just have forgotten (I have, after all, forgotten more about what to do with worthless egg rolls than you'll ever know, boy):
For the past eight years, Jeter has stepped to the plate, often leading off games, and always tipped his helmet to manager Terry Francona. That respectful ritual changes now, too, because the best rivalry in sports doesn’t stand still for anybody.

“He’s been over there for quite some time,” Jeter said of Francona. “I always enjoyed every opportunity to speak to him, sometimes at All-Star Games.”
We all like and respect Francona, but how much of  legend would he be if one of the times Jeter went to tip his hat to him, Francona held up a picture of this in front of his face? Camon! THAT's how legends are made!!
