When NBC announced last week that reruns of The Office would be re-edited with never-before-seen footage, we were undeniably curious. So what do these episodes, which NBC is calling "newpeats," bring to the table?Gee, you think, added scenes into episodes I already love? Great!
But noooooooo:
The downside to these re-edited episodes is that in order to fit in the new footage, obviously some original scenes need to be cut.WHAT FUCKING FAN WANTS TO SEE ORIGINAL SCENES CUT???
Now they've only made things confusing for fans, who now have to spend the episode wondering "hey, what happened to such and such scene I thought was in this episode?" or "wait, I don't remember this shit, wtf..." Why would NBC do this?
