Ideas. I Have Them.

Anyone on planet Earth - or, let's be fair, beyond - has seen this Larry Bird highlight about a kazillion times so far in this thing called life. I'd like to put together a reel of things like the other 19 times Bird tried to pull of such a play and failed miserably. Or just make shit up:

1. The Flutie/Phelan play but Flutie immediately bounces the ball off one of his lineman's heads at the line of scrimmage, game over

2. While waving the ball fair at Fenway Carlton Fisk lands on his own bat & crumples to the ground in agony, career is never the same

3. While Laettner's spinning around to take the final shot against Kentucky, some dude from Kentucky just pulls down his shorts in front of millions of people watching. No shot, no glory.
