Let's Nip This Shit in the Bud Now, Guys

I'm not a big "things were different and better back in my day!" guy but I do feel my generational snobbery rising up whenever anyone talks about their kid reading "chapter books"...presumably proud because the books are large enough to be broken into chapters, thereby displaying to anyone listening that their cherished little angel is a genius? I mean good for Dippity Shit Jr. I guess but what's next, "Page Books"? "Paragraph books"? "SENTENCE books" - how fucking close are we to hearing about how proud someone is that their little shit is now reading "Letter Books"?
