As We Await the Ken Burns Documentary on the American Revolution

How the hell was this war wrapped up in six fucking years? It carried on all the way from the upper reaches of New England into the deep American South & the furthermost parts of the Midwest at a time when it'd take like six weeks to get any information about what the hell was even going on out there; today we take six months to project manage a fucking birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese & yet entire wars in the 18th century fought across continents could be knocked out in less time than it's taken to make five seasons of Stranger Things.
