Stupidity is an Amazing Thing

If you were writing a movie script, you probably wouldn't feature Congressmen who touted their own incompetence in being able to run a healthcare system that would feature the very healthcare they themselves enjoy, or Congressmen blasting a stimulus package as being socialism that is going to bankrupt their grandchildren and grandstanding on camera that they not be sent the money and then going back and asking for more money (at least these guys are trying to do it secretly, unlike Jindal the Frog's jumbo checks) for one reason: you'd assume these things entirely unbelievable in anything even resembling the real world. And yet here we have it. And it works. People fall for it. Amazing.
