The hook to the Ryan Lochte reality show seems to be that he's not your typical Olympian - he goes out, he has fun, he has friends yada yada. To me, that's the exact opposite of something I'd wanna see from an Olympic athlete. Anyone can do "hey look at me, I like to have a good time!" I mean, whoop-dee-do, how unique. I'd much rather see Michael Phelps inhale a buffalo and then sit in his room in the dark seething about his next race or some shit. Single-minded focus that leads you to becoming the greatest Olympian ever is actually interesting. Being another version of The Situation is not.
