Restaurant Restaurant USA

Apparently, during four years in Washington DC Donald Trump visited exactly one restaurant...and it was his own steakhouse.

However horrible your politics may be, I would think one of the great perks of being a president would be to try out as many restaurants as you want, in any city - PARTICULARLY IF THAT CITY HAPPENS OT BE THE ONE YOU LIVE IN!!

I won't comment on what's always appeared to be Trump's general lack of curiosity or joie de vie when it comes to anything that's not himself, so. I also used to give George Bush shit for having never been to Europe before he was president, despite having been born absurdly rich and powerful. People are whack, man.

A SHORT, QUICK LIST OF THE TOP OF MY HEAD OF RESTAURANTS IN THE USA I'D VISIT IF I WAS PRESIDENT

Willie Mae's Scotch House, New Orleans (fried chicken)

Phillipe's, Los Angeles (French dip)

Brown Hotel, Louisville (a Hot Brown)

Bobby Plump's, Indianapolis (pork tenderloin sandwich)

Time-Out Restaurant, Chapel Hill (chicken biscuit)

Solly's Grille, Milwaukee (cheeseburger)

Fuck this, actually the first thing I'd do is go to every sandwich place from the incredible Sandwiches That You Will Like PBS doc, every hot dog joint from the A Hot Dog Program, and every burger in Hamburger America.
