It’s long been established that reason fiction can help us become more empathetic, so when I see this subhead:
Literature is often pushed on allegedly reluctant men as a machine for empathy.
I'm like…who’s been fighting off empathy? Really? I understand some people are more empathetic than others but actively not doing it because you think it may give empathy to you as if it was cooties or something, dafuck is that about? π€π€·♂️
